Matt and I recently went on a trip by ourselves for the first time since we had kids. We went to Las Vegas with friends for a couple of days for some R&R. Although we would miss the kids we knew that they were in good hands. Emily and Claire came and stayed with them at the house and were amazing. Surprisingly I didn't feel guilty or have any anxiety about leaving Ryan and Eryn the morning we left or the whole time we were there. I guess I knew they were in good hands.
Matt and I had so much fun. Matt had never been so we made sure we saw as much as we could. A lot of walking took place along with a lot of blisters on my feet but it was still a blast. The picture of Matt is outside M&M World were we got the kids a present. The next picture is of Matt and I getting ready to go up the Eiffle Tower. However, my favorite one is of Matt and Sarah on top of the Stratosphere on a ride that tips you off the side. We look forward to another weekend away, hopefully it won't be another 7 years.
