My new job is...

• an adventure, where else can you work and listen to a story at the same time.
• never boring, I learn and do something new everyday.
• filled with little voices because this is NOT one of those quiet libraries.
• an organizer's dream, all those labels and decimal points.
• important, what would Jean do without me. (just kidding, I'm sure she wouldn't miss me and my scatterbrained ways )
• fun, who else gets to make Halloween bookmarks and then see children's faces light up when you give them one.
• convenient, I love that I work super close to home with a set schedule.

I'm glad that I made the decision to work in the Library. Even though I loved my old job, I love working here and with Jean and all the kids. I feel at home now and know it is where I want to be. Plus, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by children's books everyday.
