She Keeps on Growing

Eryn is officially 18 months old, 31 1/2" tall and 22 lbs. How is this possible? It always amazes me how toddlerhood sneaks up on you. I guess when I think about all the subtle changes in her, it only makes sense that she is almost two. These days she is asserting her independence every chance she gets. Kisses and hugs are on her terms now. She would rather walk than be carried and can throw a mean fit if you try to pick her up. Scowling at us is another trait she has mastered. This mean little expression has started showing up more and more everyday.
It's not all bad though. Eryn is a genius when it comes to nose blowing. She will blow her nose every chance she gets and then will go and throw away her tissue. She is also getting into taking care of her baby. I love it when she tries to sing, "Rock a Bye Baby" while rocking her doll. Eryn loves, loves, loves the phone, purses and shoes. You can always find her wearing someones shoes with a purse slung over her shoulder in one hand and a phone in the other. We love watching her grow and say new words everyday. No matter how old she gets though, she will always be my little baby.
