Matt goes to Chicago

A few weeks ago Matt got an opportunity to go to Illinois. My dad is currently working on a contract there and invited someone from my family and my sister's family to come up and visit him. It worked out best for Matt to go for us and for Mary to go for her family. Matt had an amazing time there. Days were filled will sightseeing, Six Flags and salmon fishing. Matt loved the view from the top of the Sears Tower. The picture below is off the top looking at the stadium were the Bears play. He also went to the Jelly Belly factory and did some sightseeing in Milwaukee. The only snag they had was flying. On all the flights they had to wait on the plane a couple of hours for misc. things (weather, mechanical repairs, changing of planes ect.). At one point they were on a plane so small, they had to exit from the tarmac. In true Matt form, he made light of it all. Although we missed him lots, I'm glad he got to go. Maybe next time we can all go.
